What’s it going to take for 2023 to actually be different than 2022? How can you become the version of yourself necessary to really succeed? If you want 2023 to be different but don’t know how that’s going to happen, I’ll tell you the first thing you need to do. You’ve got to be the person that never lets failure sink into your being.
If you’re going to be the version of yourself that’s necessary to succeed in 2023 you’re going to have to stop listening to, caring about, and believing what other people think and say about you.
So, that’s going to require a concerted effort. You need to peel away the layers of guilt and shame. You have to let go of the layers of embarrassment and fear. We are so afraid of being failures or making a mistake that we lose ourselves.
The truth is we’re always growing, and any sort of misalignment or failure is actually just an opportunity.
You might roll your eyes when I say that. Here is the truth. If you can see something that you legitimately did wrong as a lesson and learn from it, you are incredibly powerful. That is the first thing you have to do to be able to live out your ministry. When you do this, you will become unstoppable. I share more about that in the short video at the top of this blog.
Who you choose to be going into 2023 needs to be a person that has peeled off the layers of doubt, self-sabotage, fear, and anxiety.
You need to get all of that off you because it is not of the Father. You need to bind it up in Jesus’ name. It’s not hard but it does take a concerted effort. You must catch any negative thought when it happens and bind it up in Jesus’ name. If you struggle with anxious thoughts, you can check out my blog about how you can kick that to the curb. Run your thoughts through the filter of how God sees you. The version of you that needs to be walking into 2023 is a version that is confident. You have to take ownership of who you are and how you show up in the world.
