How To Pick A Domain Name When You Don’t Want To Be The Face Of Your Brand

How do you grow an online business when you don’t want to be the face of the business? There’s lots of military and first responder moms that want to be able to make money online, and who don’t want to sacrifice security for their families in the process.  It’s absolutely possible and I can help you.

Let’s start with domain names. A domain name is a dot com or dot net web address. You’re going to want what I would call a marketable domain.  When I worked at Go Daddy we described this as the bus test. If someone was sitting on a bus and heard your domain name on the radio or saw it somewhere, could they understand what your website is about and can they remember it?

Is your domain name memorable? Does it communicate what you do?

When you’re choosing your domain name you want to first consider your audience. Who are you serving? What is your Bat Signal? When you put out content to serve your audience who are you thinking about? I have some great trainings on my YouTube channel on this if you need some extra help here. It’s one of the most important steps in your journey so don’t skip this one.

Once you know who you are serving you can create content for them. That is how you know what to share on your website, social media, and blogs. I share more about that in the short video at the top of this blog. I’m going to be showing you A to Z how to do all of this in my Affiliate Marketing University course. It’s got everything you need to start and grow your income from home. Once you’ve taken the course I’ve created a membership packed full of ongoing support. It’s The Inner Circle with Martha Krejci where we come together every day. I share daily income-producing activities, and deep dive trainings. You can learn more and enroll here.
