A getaway might be just what you need. Getting away from home, even if you don’t go very far, allows you get out of your normal routine. Whenever we get out of our routine, there’s something really cool that happens. It’s almost like your body, your spirit, everything starts to imagine potentialities. You can dream about what life could be like. Imagine your perfect ministry, your perfect mission, your perfect way that you show up in the world.
I think one of the only ways we can imagine those things is by getting out of the norm. When you are home, you are often running on autopilot. Being in a new space takes you off of autopilot.
