What can you do if you’re looking for a quick injection of sales and impact in your business? Whatever income stream you’re building I want you to remember your own origin story. Specifically, I want you to remember why you serve the people that you serve. Why do you serve them the way that you serve them?
I want you to remember that moment where you were the person that needed help. We’ve all had those struggles where we were up until 2am googling solutions. When you’ve struggled with something and figured it out – that’s your origin story. When you share your origin story you are sharing why you serve. You are showing your audience that you are their person. You are confirming that you are the person that can help them– right now. You should be able to answer questions about your person. I wrote a short blog post on that here.

Think about your origin story and go into great detail to describe your experience. Think about where you used to be. What did you need? That is precisely where the people who need you are right now. Think about the person you are here to serve. Where are they right now? What are they struggling with? What part of the journey are they in? What are they aware of? What are they not aware of? I talk more about that in the short video at the top of this blog.
So what I want you to do today is make a video, blog post, or social media post sharing your origin story. This is how you can make sure your audience can find you and what you offer. That is how you can create a quick injection of sales and impact in your business. It is that simple.
